* Caramel Apple Dip *
October 31st, 2009 at 1OctEDT - 04:00When you start feeling the chill in the air and the leaves start looking like an artist painted them a beautiful crimson and golden. That is when, I start planning our trip to the Cider Mill. We always come away with a bag of fresh doughnuts and a jug of cider along with a bushel of apples. The kids and grand kids can’t wait until I cut up some apples and make the Caramel Apple dip. You will find this recipe also goes well with pears.

1/4 to 1/3 cup/60 to 80 mL brown sugar
1 tsp/5 mL Original Double-Strength Vanilla
1/2 tsp/2.5 mL Caramel Extract
