INGREDIENTS
Bottom Layer
1 1/4 cups Flour
1 stick of butter (softened)
1/2 cup pecans (chopped fine)
Middle Layer
8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp clear vanilla
9 oz Cool Whip
Pudding Layer
Prepare 1 batch of Watkins Chocolate Pudding & Dessert Mix according to package
Top Layer
DIRECTIONS
Use a 9×13 pan
Bottom Layer
Mix flour, butter and pecans with a fork until forms a ball. Pat into your 9×13 pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool
Middle Layer
Let cream cheese and Cool Whip come to room temperature.
Then mix the cream cheese and 1/2 container of Cool Whip, 1 tsp clear vanilla and confectioners’ sugar with hand mixer. Carefully spread over bottom cookie layer. Helpful hint- Chill in refrigerator to make adding the pudding layer easier.
Pudding Layer
Carefully spread the pudding layer
Top
Top off with the remaining Cool whip and sprinkle with fine chopped pecans
