Would you believe garlic is a member of the lily family. And is native of central Asia and is known to be a dried root. It’s use dates back more than 5000 years ago. Garlic was fed to the workers who built the Great Pyramid at Giza. In addition, Greek athletes dined on garlic to build their strength. In the United States, it was first grown in New Orleans by French settlers and then the missionaries brought it to California where it is grown today. It has been recorded in ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, China, Japan, India, Russia and Europe that garlic has been used for thousands of years. Garlic is known as the penicillin in Russia, is is used to treat ear infections, cholera and typhus. Also, in the two World wars it was used as a disinfectant.

What are the health benefits of garlic?

Garlic strengthens the immune system, that helps to prevent colds, flu and other infectious disease, wards off heart disease by reducing high blood pressure and lowering cholesterol, helps fight off infections: is a good digestive aid: helps alleviates gas, but is also an anti-inflammatory herb as well. Fresh garlic bulbs are preferred. So the next time you visit your local market, pick up two or three cloves and keep it on hand. It is rejected by many because of the pungent odor, try roasting a garlic bulb and you will find it will have a sweet and savory taste.

Just think back when my parents were growing up the synthetic chemicals used in todays cleaning products were still only found in the laboratory.

Watkins has always put natural products as their standard bearer, dating back to the 1868’s, and today they have stepped up and created a whole new line of cleaning products that are plant based. Just what does that mean: they feature non-toxic plant-based formulas that are both biodegradable and phosphate free. They are ultra concentrated cleaners that are natural derived.

Along with, they have removed the ammonia’s, benzene, chlorine, ethanol, ether, formaldehyde, and kerosene, petrochemical along with other toxic chemicals. So remember your everyday choices affect your health and your families’ health.

Even the cleaning products are fragranced with natural lemon, lavender, rosemary and orange oil as well as extracts from palm and coconut. The natural aromas will leave your home smelling fresh and sparkling clean…naturally.

So, when you take a bath in your tub or watch your toddle creep along the floor, you will not have to worry about toxic chemicals getting into your skin or respiratory system.

If you would like more information about the products or how to order them call 1-888-713-8281 or visit my online store

To you and your family’s good health and the footprint you leave on the environment.
